Ralf
Paske
[Vocal/Guitar/Bass]
Ralf started out writing the kind of working
class anthems of unfulfilled longing for social justice that you'd
normally associate with old Irish rebel songs. From there, he made
the logical move - at least, logical by Ralf's standards - into
eighties Beatmusic. But then, Ralf's always been a bit left of centre,
shunning synthetic pop virtuosity in favour of raw, gutsy riffs.
With the return of guitar-based rock in the nineties, Ralf felt
finally justified in hanging on to his wah-wah pedal. Today, this
guitarist of exotic Indian/Prussian blood not only enriches The
Pleasure's recordings with his own original up-beat songs, he also
plays guitar - his way.
